TODAY:
Correct DSS #33 – Ordering important historical events
Correct DSS #34 – Resources and wealth
Complete DSS # 35 – Washington D.C. landmarks
We corrected the Judaism sheet and the Chapter review. The test will be tomorrow.
ASSIGNMENT:
Study for the Chapter 2 test tomorrow.
Discuss the Research project with your parents and get the choices and signature to me by tomorrow.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- Watch out for Ducks! Every day some students are getting new ducks. Each subscription renewal is just as beneficial as a new subscription. 40% comes to BT. My duck (I have a lucky Irish duck) was pulled for a special treat yesterday, but it was a non-uniform pass, so not something I could use. The kids are trading some ducks to find some they really like.
- I’ll answer any questions you may have about the project by e-mail or phone if you prefer. The kids have asked a lot of questions, too.

TODAY:
DSS #33 – Ordering important historical events
DSS #34 – Resources and wealth
- I collected the worksheet on Judaism, and gave the students a chapter review sheet to complete at home. We will go over both sheets tomorrow and the test of chapter 2 is on Friday.
- Today I gave the students a folder and two copies of the research report instructions. One copy is to stay at school for reference and the other is to stay at home for reference. We did read some of the information, but there are a lot of examples and an explanation of our expectations for this project. We will be referring to it often. The calendars are given to you in two ways, whichever works best for your refrigerator! Please help your child to stay on task and on time with the various parts of the project. We will have some time in class for research and for note taking and writing, but they are also required to do some at home. BE SURE TO SAVE THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 4th for the evening Learning Fair.
ASSIGNMENT:
· Complete the Chapter review.
· Discuss the Research project with your parents and get the choices and signature to me by Friday.
· Chapter 2 test will be Friday.
