From Mrs. Susie Howard's
Have a wonderful summer! Visit your local library and join the reading club. Check out books on your grade level to read. As fifth graders, try to read at least 124 words per minute. Practice reading fluency using yoour parents' timer. Better yet, have your parents to time you and count the number of words read minus the number of words you mispronounced. Don't forget to do plenty of reading: What to read?
When to read?
Always practice speaking the correct English. Correct yourself when you know what you say is incorrect. Also correct your sibling if they speck incorrectly as well. This practice will certainly be beneficial to you in English next school year. I wish you all well next year. Have a great school year and I hope to hear from each of you. Keep me in touch!!!!
