To all Students and Parents, Important Message: Students are already slipping in their responsibility to change for PE class and to complete all of their Health assignments. It is interesting to note that all students who finished all their assignments passed! Those who earned an A grade also changed for PE almost everyday and participated in PE class to the best of their ability. It is very important for students to change for PE class. Students are required to change into their Leesville T-shirt and into either their Leesville PE shorts or into sweat pants of any style they wish. I would suggest the sweat pants for this time of year since we will be participating outdoors as much as possible weather permitting. I would also suggest that students bring and wear sweatshirts or hoodies along with hats and gloves on the colder days. Changing for class into the required PE clothes is necessary for personal hygiene and to be able to participate in warm-up activities along with stretches more comfortably. It is also good to have a clean change of school clothes to change back into after class in case a student slips in the mud. There is no compromise for compliance with the requirement to change for PE class. Progress reports/Interims and report cards are sent out on a regular basis. I am beginning to wonder how many Parent's have seen their son/daughter's progress report or report card. Especially important is the progress report! Please contact me by email so that I may share with you the assignments that have yet to be completed. I have given class work and help days to try and get assignments completed and turned in. Some students did a great job working with me to complete back assignments and others unfortunately did nothing. Perhaps in the next quarter students will put more effort into completing their work. Once again, all students who finished all their assignments passed! Hope everyone will have a fantastic Christmas/Holiday vacation We will be returning to Health class after vacation!
