Parents and Students,

I just wanted to take a moment and thank you for all of your support this year, and all the years I taught at Good Shepherd.  I wll truly miss each one of you and will keep you in my prayers:)

Kudos to 7th and 8th graders at their first pageant practice this year, rumor is this first practice proved very productive AND the students performed their roles well!  Great Job!

Also, a reminder to please send in a battery operated candle that will be used at the pageant.  Please label this with your child\\\'s name.

There will be 2 more after school practices on December 7 and 13th AT THE SCHOOL until 4p.m.  Parents, thanks so much for your flexibility!

 Remember your money for Secret Santa Shoppe, 7th grade will shop on Wednesday, December 7th at 1:00 p.m.

Mrs. Kilcoyne has graciously volunteered to collect money for our Angel Tree gift.  Please send in your donation asap.  More information is available in the email she sent this week.

Literature midterm is just around the corner.  All tests / quizes were sent home in folders today.  Please keep this at home for study purposes and return after the midterm on Tuesday, December 13th.  Students should be recording what they are specifically reviewing each evening in their assignment books.  More specified study guides will go home on Monday.

 Content and vocabulary quiz on Letters from Rifka will be this Monday.  Also, only one book letter due this month by December 16th.

 Our class will have Mass on this Thursday, December 11th - The Feast of the Immaculate Conception.

 The new middle school language arts teacher, Mrs. Tanya Crimmons, began shadowing Mrs. Shott this week.  Mrs. Crimmins will visit us often over these few weeks before Christmas, in an effort to make a smooth transition for all in 2012.

1 inch thin plastic flexible binders (usually cost about 1 dollar)  (5 needed,  different colors suggested)

2 packages of label binder dividers (different colored tabs suggested)

Mini binder for Math (if you didn\'t turn yours in last year)

6 pocket folders with brads for projects

3 100 page marble copybooks

2 white out tapes
