Montgomery Elementary Performing Arts Center Mission Impossible. Sometimes being a parent seems like an impossible task. Remember that your child is a child. We must teach them responsibility and have the appropriate expectation of their behavior and abilities according to their age and maturity level. When we expect adult behavior from children we may become overly frustrated.. Read to your child every day. Provide plenty of books and printed materials for your child to enjoy-shop at yard sales or swap with a friend. Let your child see YOU reading for pleasure, also.
