Welcome to the CLMS Band Page!

If you are in the 8th grade band or a 7th grader playing with them in the contest in Monroe ,please add March 2nd at 7:00 to your calendar. We will perform the 3 pieces we are going to do  and hopefully have some band directors come in to help gives some tips for better performance. The exact date of the Monroe Contest is not set yet.

Seventh Graders that are gonf on the Monroe trip will have practice Friday after School until 4:30.

The All County Clinic will be March 22-23 at Carson High School.
The Optional Extra Practice will be February 13th at China Grove Middle School from 9:00 to Noon. Students need to provide their own transportation.

Jazz Band will start as soon as I get the music in.

Students in the 6th grade may join band late when the quarter is over but a parent needs to contact me and it is recommended that they have a few before or after school lessons to help them catch up. Their choice of instruments may also be limited  to instruments needed the most for proper instrumentation.

So far we have concerts planned on October 26th and December 17 at 7:00 PM.Our Carowinds date is April 16th.  Please put these dates on your calendar. I will give you others dates as they become established.

Make sure you add your name to the notification list. You will then be notified when the page changes  and you child will also get extra credit. If you sign up also drop me an email and let me know who your child is.
