News From Room 22

Dear families,

It is hard to believe, but our year in first grade is almost over!  The time has gone by so very quickly.  I am very pleased with the progress that all of the children have made this year.  I see great strides made in knowledge of basic math facts, reading sight and decodable words (and stories), beautiful printing, maturation, responsibility and accountability, to name just some of the things the children have learned this year!  Please keep the children "on their toes" this summer by reading, reading, and reading!! Please brush-up on basic addition and subtraction facts as well.

We do have two weeks of school left.  I do hope to keep the children focused and learning!
