Daily homework is posted below. Email Mrs. Crawley, a Nationally Certified Teacher, at crawletf@rss.k12.nc.us

HOMEWORK:  Honors class:  Your "W" story is due before Christmas.  Follow your dates on the outline.   Also, read The Alchemist before Jan. 12. When you finish, you can answer your test question.  If you haven't done so by Jan. 12, you will take the full test then.  All classes:  You have a calendar with assignments and due dates listed for the remainder of the course.  Use it.  You are not studying enough; you are not reading enough.  The exam is difficult.  You must keep a 70% class average and make an 80% on the state exam to pass this course.
PROGRESS REPORTS for ENGLISH will be mailed to you this quarter.  Go over them with your parents, get them signed, and return them to me ASAP. Due Wed, Dec. 3rd:  Sentences for Vocab. unit 4 related to "The Princess and the Tin Box".  Test Friday.

Welcome to South, new friends (and old)! You are entering a class where worthwhile work, shared responsibility, and celebrations of success are key ingredients. I check my e-mail at 8:00pm each evening. If you need my help, send a message before then, and I'll respond just after 8:00. Most afternoons from 2:30-3:15, I stay to help students with homework, classwork, and make-up work. Come on in! Homework for the day is always listed on the class board and POSTED BELOW! Write it in your agenda daily.
