Welcome to
Mrs. F.'s Website!
What's going on in ...

We are now deep into our study of forces and motion. We have worked in centers that used hands-on activities to bring the concepts covered in class to life. The test on this unit will be soon. Our next step will be to complete our study of energy before Christmas. When we return to school after the holidays, our focus will shift once again to Social Studies.
I strongly encourage each student to attend school every day. If your child has already been absent, he/she can tell you that a lot of information and fun was missed in my class!! I make every effort to "catch up" those students that miss class by providing notes on the concepts we covered. It is, however, your child's responsibility to familiarize him/herself with the notes and ask questions as necessary.
I will regularly update this website with upcoming events and assignments for my class. There will be homework often and projects occasionally--so be ready for that!
Please feel free to email me with any questions you might have. When you do, please be sure to include which homeroom your child is in.

Let's continue making this a fabulous year for your fifth grader!
I will challenge my students to reach
just beyond that point where they are comfortable,
so they will discover that their own perceptions
of their potential are not their true limits.
