DAILY ASSIGNMENTS:
Students are given time each day to copy assignments from the board in their agendas. Please check the agenda EACH NIGHT for specific assignments and due dates, and check these against the assignment for timely completion.
ORGANIZATION:
Students maintain a notebook table of contents and add the daily assignments, tests and other important materials to the notebook on the page indicated. Parents should check this for completion of work and grades.
TESTS:
The assignment board identifies tests at least a week in advance and reminds students to study. See study tips links below for EFFECTIVE studying. Students need to study 4 nights for 30 minutes each night, minimum.
APPROVED WEBSITES:
Use these for...
a. Accessing Science and Social Studies textbooks;
b. Further explanations of class work and discussions;
c. Practicing your skills and building your knowledge;
d. Using resources for correcting your writing;
e. Research sources for information;
f. Reviewing the curriculum we'll cover this year;
g. Accessing reliable, objective government facts;
