  If you did not pick up your child's report card on Monday, it will be sent home with your child on Wednesday, November 5th.

 In Language Arts, we are working in our SRA reading groups.  This reading curriculum helps to improve reading speed and fluency.  Our students are doing very well in SRA.  They are very motivated.  We had a visitor from the District Office last week and she was very pleased with our progress in our reading groups.

In Math,  we are working with fractions.  We are also practicing our basic computation skills using addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

In Social Studies, We beginning a study of Ancient Egypt.

In Science, We are completing our chapter on Forces in the Earth.  Our unit test will be Wed., Oct. 22.  Our next chapter is about the earth's water.
