D-AE-Complete your reading of chapter 1 of our new novel, We Beat The Street

D2-Complete all three sections of our unit on the story, Fight the Fire.  All work must be turned in tomorrow morning to receiv3e full credit.

E-AE- Complete the final chapter of our novel, Forged By Fire. Then read the Topics For Discussion at the end.  Select one of the topics which you would like to write about

E3- Review your corrections on the vocabulary test which I returned to you today.Complete Category Lessons 4&5.


Sept. 7th

D-AE-Read chapter two in novel, We Beat The Street

D2-Take home your copy of the storywe read today- The Streak.  Review the seven events of bad luck and the seven good events .  Then complete the Sequence story chart.

E-AE- Review all the info we covered for our test tomorrow on Forged By Fire.

Sept 14th

E-AE- Having completed the true story of OWEN & MZEE, you are to write down  ten new facts that you have learned from this reading. They can be facts about KENYA, about the two diverse species , mammels and reptiles,the characters and the roles, etc.

E3- Review the info we covered about our story,BASEBALL SAVED OUR LIVES, and write a paragraph on WHY IT WAS WRONG FOR OUR GOVERNMENT TO PUT JAPANESE AMERICANS INTO THE DETENTION CAMPS DURING WWII.

D2- Continue our cartoon characterazation projects...due this Friday.

D-AE- From chapter 5 in our Novel, WE BEAT THE STREET, ... Consider why it was not a good idea for Rameck to Give up the money to his mother which Ma had given him for his porfolio.
