Our topic for November is Perserverance.

The definition of perseverance is to continue doing something in spite of obstacles or opposition.

All 8th grade students will be taking the ACT EXPLORE on Monday, November 10, 2008.  EXPLORE is a curriculum based assessment program designed to help 8th and 9th grade students gain an understanding of their readiness for college and guide them in future education and career planning.

Sixth and Seventh graders will be going to the computer lab to complete career interest inventories using the South Carolina Occupational Information System (SCOIS).  Students can use their assigned passwords to assess this program outside of school.
