WELCOME TO ALGEBRA I
You are enrolled in Algebra 1, which is one of the most important mathematics courses that you will take in school. Algebra 1 prepares you for success in the other high school mathematics courses and also in College Algebra. At the end of the course, you will take the Algebra 1 Mississippi Subject Area Test. Passing the test is one of the state requirements for graduation.
You are very important to me! I have high expectations for myself and for my students! I firmly believe that NO ONE RISES TO LOW EXPECTATIONS! Learning is an active process. I feel each person is responsible for his or her own learning, and I challenge my students to accept and share that responsibility.
