Count how many “pairs/groups” of subjects and verbs that you have. 3. Circle any subordinating conjunctions. 4. Put a BOX around any coordinating conjunctions (FANBOYS). a. In order to have a subordinating/coordinating conjunction, you have to have a subject and verb after the conjunction. 5. Start underlining: a.
