Welcome to marine and aquatic science. This semester we will discuss various topics from the ocean environment, different aquatic organisms, aquatic ecosystems, and pollution issues.

Daily: 35%

Weekly Class Participation Grade:

 1.    ID Badge, Planner, Notebook and Textbook  -   10 pts.

2.   Dress code violations – 5 pts.

3.   Excessive talking (Not talking when teacher is talking, no loud talking, or disruptive talking)  -  10 pts

4.   Class work (sleeping or working on other teacher’s assignments)  -   10 pts

5.   Classroom procedures/rules – 15 pts

(following the ones listed above as well as:

 * Throwing items to each other or in trash can

 * Derogatory comments to each other or others outside the  

   classroom.
