![]() Do not, then my friend, keep children to their studies by compulsion, but by play. --PlatoWelcome Back to Eli Terry! We've gotten off to a great start here in the room 501 - where children sing, dance, listen and create. Kindergarteners visit the music room once a week for 30 minutes, while grades 1-5 have general music once a week for 40 minutes. We do move a lot, so dress appropriately - no flip flops please! Grades 4 and 5 also attend chorus on Monday mornings for 40 minutes. They come in two groups: a group of 85 students and the other a slightly smaller group of 65!! Chorus is a great opportunity to improve singing, learn to work as a team, practice the discipline of performance and continue learning that takes place in the classroom. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Save this date Winter Concert Grade 4 and 5 chorus Grade 5 Band Grade 5 Orchestra December 8, 2008 ***Note: Our dress code for the Concert is Navy or Black pants with a light white top.
