M Nov 9 Bring a lock for your locker.  Write name in ALL of your textbooks. The first entrance bell rings at 7:45. Tell your parent that homeroom is after 2nd period and you must get to school promptly to first period that STARTS right at 8:05.  You need time to go to your locker, bathroom, media center, cafeteria, and get to class when the 8:00 warning bell sounds.

T Nov 10  No after school tutorial today.  See you NEXT Tues, Nov 17 and Dec 1.  I must have a permission note and your ride here at 4:15.

6th: We thoroughly reviewed/practiced (very important to me) how to solve literal equations.  There is a requiz tomorrow & I will take the higher of the two scores.  Only two people are exempted from taking this - a perfect score of 110% and another 90 who has the opp to take it if he wants.  The rest of the class need to buckle down and redo their examples.  Study!  In addition, complete P3-2 multiples of 3 (3-18, 27-42) and all 21-26 word probs involving simple, simple inequalities.

F Sept 11 1/3/4 Study notes on Properties for Addition and Multiplication. Finish properties #2 this weekend - have to draw out your own 8 illustrations at bottom of wsht.Cum Test Monday.

6th: complete  Balance Scales - Models of Equality 3-2/3-3 Handout.  Next week - Uniform Motion Problems!  Set up tables like we're doing in class to create equations.

TH Sept 10 1/3/4: Cumulative test ch 1~3 next Monday!

6th: Quiz postponed; it'll be tomorrow...D108 -  finish evens 16-40 started in class

W Sept 9 1/3/4:  Study the ch 3 test outline.  Look over the workbook pages 3-1 ~ 3-10.  remember!! using calculators for the entire test!!

6th: same wksht of wd probs.  I helped you set up #12,try #14 oh JOY!  by yourself also.  Quiz tomorrow on 2-1 ~ 2-4 only.  chill with the word probs for now.

T Sept 8 1/3/4: Previously assigned some of 3-8 so finish it up, 3-9 was done partially in class, 3-10 old stuff.  Complete all of these with me for hmk/clk.  

6th: we started FL 20 - try to finish the 2 tables.  Try the odds only on the back (1-14 word probs)
