W clk Copied #9/#10 from "sandwiches" puzzle worksheet from OH transp.  MORE notes with sub today -transp I prepared! (pp532-534 practice probs from text..this is your study guide for the test.  Hmk: complete only 1-8 onf the handout provided. We'll do 9-16 Monday regarding squares and cubes.  This is an extention of what we did last Nov.  TEST Tomorrow - ch 10-1~10-5

Th sub showed you 1-8 for you to check, copy..do if you didn't...nice transparency left fou you.  Did you do this?  Test started today...sub said extremely unruly 3rd.  students off task each class - you broke your promise to me!  :( I am not very happy about the report.

F Finished ch 10 test today.  Again sub said that noise was unreal as people finished.  I just don't get it.  I have so much else to worry about.  Tell your friends to behave!  Hmk none.  Today was the last day to turn in late boxes this week....yeah, a quiz grade that should have been yahoo! great score.  Oh dear.

W all box instructions given - 2 boxes (one of each) is due tomorrow for Quiz Grade!  +5pts for EC is construction of the 12 pc polyhedron! EDIT:    to be given Thurs: Handout for 10-5 Literal Equations (solving for a specific variable... due Friday.  Just the 1-15 part.

M Table of Contents check 21-30 tomorrow which means parent signatures are required on Q/T in there too!  Review Ch 8 test (1st/6th only; 3rd still working on it today) & get PS! Do workbook 10-3 evens and review notes for quiz tomorrow on 10-1~10-3.  10-3 shows how one must get combine like terms that are on diff sides of the =. Ch 10 test next MOnday, Dec 15.Reminder:  consider/bring paper for box constructions asap.  Two diff box products due Thurs, Dec 18.  (No plain white paper pieces.)

TH Handout about 10-4 from online textbook page printed out for you re 4 inequalitiy probs. finish 25,27,37 showing steps on the worksheet. Started quiz today after MORE review.  Study to finish tomorrow.

F Re-read msg that's been on the side board since Tues regarding box constructions.  Think about what paper you're going to use for your constructions - wrapping paper, computer generated design, constuction paper...bring 2/6 pcs tuesday  Share & return with PS Q2 Interim asap.  Ch 10 Test Monday POSTPONE until Jan return!

W Do all workbook 10-1...a few done in class and on worksheet and on separate paper.  Show steps of work for all the probs on your paper.  Get materials signed that were in your TC and YET unsigned!  Parents need to look at the order of your child's papers.  Numbered? missing what?  I called 8 parents this pm regarding students not keeping binder tidy.

W Get quiz signed...did you look over the transp that I left again to check your missed probs? Especially #17 ..x=2 so simple, huh?  Study for ch 6 test by reviewing the two recent quizzes we had and looking over 6-6 and 6-7.  YOU must study throught 6-7 YOURSELF...independent work!  You can get this easily, I know it!  Read 6-7 in class today and studied those examples everso carefully.  Use the answers handout I left for you (nice of me, I know) to do workbook 6-7.  I hope all time was used wisely and not for whining.  You can r-e-a-d right??? Supposed to have picked up 3 sheets of tables/graphs paper today to do pps 327-328 4-40 all. 

Th Review your solutions for 4-40 with the copy that I ran off for each of you...I slipped in early Thurs morn to run it off for you since I figured eye-balling the overhead would be somewhat of a pain, and it was a lot of small graphy stuff to stare at.  YOU're welcome.  Okay, so hopefully you started the ch 6 test and were relieved to see how easy it really was! HMK:  study some more, silly!  6-7 absolute value patterns

F Finish the test. Thank you for your effort.  The sub said your class was busy.  My other math classes weren't nearly as cooperative as you for some unknown reason.  Parents, talk to your munchkin.  We are not happy teachers (or fellow students) when kids act up and get the whole class stirred up - what's wrong with that!!!!  See you Monday.

T complete the blue diamond for both math 8 #4 and alg assessment #4. Fill out cards tomorrow.  More than 1/2 of the class went on a field trip so the rest of us graded the first page of the recent quiz.  No other written hmk but we'll check TC tomorrow.
