In reading, we are learning use reading strategies.  Ask your student about generalizations, inferring, evaluating, and summarizing.  In writing, we are starting our first complete paper for the county assessment. 

        Thank you for sharing your child with me this year.  The best way to contact me is to send a note in the child's agenda or to email me.  I am also usually at the school until 4:00 or later most days, if you would need to call.

Spelling- Students will receive their words on Thursday and will take their test on Tuesday.  This will allow the student to study words over the weekend.  This will also allow us to get the spelling test in the Friday Folders.
