In reading, we are learning use reading strategies.  Ask your student about generalizations, inferring, evaluating, and summarizing.  In writing, we are starting our second paper for a county assessment. This one uses what the students are learning in health.  

        Thank you for sharing your child with me this year.  The best way to contact me is to send a note in the child's agenda or to email me.  I am also usually at the school until 4:00 or later most days, if you would need to call.

 

***Book Reports are due March 5!!!!  This time they count as a double reading grade!!

 

 

*Please continue to sign agendas nightly.

*Friday folders need to be returned and signed by Monday.

*Always ask your student about their day. 

*Always remember that I do have your child's best interest at heart.  They are important to me!

Spelling- Students will receive their words on Thursday and will take their test on Tuesday.  This will allow the student to study words over the weekend.  This will also allow us to get the spelling test in the Friday Folders.
