SIX GRADE:
Objectives: Exploring Technology - Learn the Alphabetic keys on the keyboard, starting with the home row keys. Toolbar practice, learning the Windows menu and toolbar functions(copy, paste, cut, bold, etc..)


SEVENTH GRADE:
OBJECTIVE: Learn the Alphabetic keys on the keyboard, starting with the home row keys. 2.01 - 2.02 Hardware & Software, and the proper functions of each. Proper Computer Care.


EIGHTH GRADE: 1.01 - 1.04Hardware & Software, analyzing, identifying parts, & functions. 2.01-2.04 Changing Role of technology, ethical issues as related to computer usage, and telecommunications.
4.01-4.05 Word Processing and Desktop Publishing Software. In Word Processing retrieve, format and edit various documents.


The 8th Grade Computer Skills test is scheduled to be administered in April.

Attention Parents

Please encourage your child to also access the website www.quia.com on a daily basics to improve test scores if they have access to the Internet. Quia website has a vast variety of quizzes and games on information that is from the curriculum in which students are tested on daily. We are also given a copy of the PowerPoint Presentations that are viewed in class for additional reinforcement.

There will be a Mid-term and Final Exam for Keyboarding and Business Computer Technology classes.
