When You Are Absent - You are responsible for all work done on the days you are absent. Parents need to realize that all of the new concepts for the day have to be taught before students can do the work. They will need your help. All work can be found on the Daily Log below the homework notes.

Every week Mrs. Klabunde will send home a Family Times sheet which corresponds with our Language Arts program. It gives an overview of the reading vocabulary, comprehension skills, spelling list words, and grammar concepts that will be the focus for that week. These sheet should be saved and used to review for Selection tests, spelling tests, and English tests. Please let me know if you do not get one each week.

Snacks
Students should bring a healthy snack each day. In 4th grade acceptable healthy snacks include fresh fruits or vegetables, cheese, or yogurt. Keep it simple and send napkins & spoons if needed. Snack for the refrigerator should come in a ziplock bag labeled with your student's name. (It is difficult to tell one student's apple or yogurt from another's). Snacks can be kept cold in our classroom refrigerator.
