Classroom Policies and Procedures
During the first 2 classes each semester, Computer Education (CE) Policies and Procedures for the classroom are covered. A copy of CE Policies and Procedures can be found in the CE handbook at each computer station. A copy of the Wilkes County Schools ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY (3225/7320) is located in the handbook.

__Grade 6 - Exploring Career Decisions 6158
The class begins with students reinforcing their keyboarding skills. Students will be oriented to the world of work and explore educational and occupational decisions related to careers. Experiences are designed to introduce students to the technical nature of today's world using the Focus Areas for the North Carolina Computer Skills in their studies.

__Grades 7, 8 - Exploring Business Technology: Business and Maketing 6208
This course is designed to explore the nature of business and to study related careers in office systems technology. Emphasis is on using computer applications while studying careers. The Focus Areas for the North Carolina Computer Skills (Grade 7 and Grade 8) are reinforced as students explore business applications and careers. This course contributes to the development of a career development plan by the eighth grade year.
Supplies for Class Come to class ready to learn and work hard everyday.
One 1-inch 3-ring binder.
Black/Blue ink pens or pencils (no other colors)
Regular Pencils (no mechanical pencils)
1 Yellow highlighter
15+ sheets of loose leaf notebook paper
School agenda/planner with you daily.
It is not required, but helpful if some students bring a box of tissues or disinfectant wipes. I do not need hand cleanser this year.
