Dear Parents,

I will be your child’s U.S. History teacher for the 2008-2009 school years.  I look forward to a rewarding year.  We will be engaged in a meaningful history curriculum this year and your child will do very well if they apply themselves.  All students will be given the standards for the subject that will be covered this year and the goal is for your child to master each of them.  They will also have the opportunity choose a career path this year that they will carry over into high school.
