This year's schedule is a little different than we have had before.  You will have two exploratories each semester, but you will not go to them everyday.  One will meet on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; the other one will meet on Tuesday and Thursday.  They will be a semester (two 9-weeks) long unless it is a credit class and then it will be for a year.  I know this sounds confusing, but I think you will like it in the long run.  If you do not understand this be sure to ask one of your teachers and he/she will be glad to help you.   

           All of the keyboarding classes have learned all of the alphabet keys and the numeric keypad.  The 8th graders have learned or in the process of learning the numbers and symbols on the top row of the keyboard.  Please encourage your child to practice at home.

          In the Intro to Computer Credit Class we are starting our Computer Information Systems unit.  We will progress to proofreading and toolbars and then to Word Processing.  They have a test on Friday, October 31 on Computer parts, what there function is, and the information processing cycle.
