Spelling and Vocabulary for the week of January 12th-January 23rd

** Your spelling list is made up of words you will be learning in Social Studies, Science, and Math.  It is important you know the meaning of each word and how to spell it in order to be successful in these classes.  You will be tested over the vocabulary of these words on the first Friday of the week you receive the list.  There will be a spelling test on the following Friday.  You will need to keep this list for two weeks.**

Children are to look up each word in their textbooks and write the definitions to their words on notebook paper.  It is important that the children use their textbooks as this is the definition that will be on the test.  Vocabulary is due on THURSDAY, January 15th.  The spelling springboards are on the back of the list they were given.  These are due on January 23rd.
