Anotherweek has flown by, and I am truly sad that it is my last full week with thechildren. We have had a lot of fun learning about owls!  Our letter of the week was Oo; in mathwe were introduced to plane and solid shapes; and in Bible we finished upGenesis/Began Exodus 1-2.  Nextweek is short, but our theme will be Pilgrims and Native Americans.  We will not have a letter of the week,but will spend time reviewing the letters we have learned up until this point(Aa, Bb, Cc, Dd, Ff, Hh, Ii, Mm, Oo, Pp, and Tt).  In math, we will spend time reviewing 0-7, and we will nothave Bible next week. 

ThanksgivingFeast

On Tuesday, 11-25-08, the elementary will have a ThanksgivingFeast in the afternoon.  Every otherclass, beginning with Preschool, is dressing up as Native Americans.  The classes in between, beginning withKindergarten, will be dressing up as Pilgrims (we are making Pilgrim hats nextweek).  I know they will enjoythis!

BookFair/Santa’s Workshop

Please mark your calendars that the Book Fairwill be from Monday, 12-8-08 to Friday, 12-12-08, and Santa’s Workshop will be from Monday,12-15-08 to Friday, 12-19-08.  Both of these events are great forfinding Christmas gifts!

ThanksgivingBreak

Please remember that our Thanksgiving Break isfrom Wednesday, 11-26-08 to Friday, 11-28-08. I pray that everyone has a safe and enjoyable Thanksgiving!  School will resume on Monday,12-1-08.
