Adv. Math: the students have finished the chapter 7. We will be going into chapter 8 which deals with measurement. It will include estimating and finding the perimeter, area, and circumference as well as the surface area of polygons as well as 3-d figures.

Regular math: the students have just completed chapter 8. We will be going into chapter 9 which deals with Geometry and measurement. The students will be working with estimating and finding the perimeter, area, and circumference as well as the surface area of different polygons.


Sc: The students will be learning about genetics and how it makes up who they are and what they look like. We will be looking at the scientific work of Gregor Mendall. We will also be engaged in a CSI unit where the students will do different types of investigations such as fingerprinting and handwriting analysis.
