Adv. Math: The students are beginning in Chapter 3. We will cover the entire chapter. This chapter will cover estimating  with fractions and mixed numbers, adding and subtracting fractions and mixed numbers, multiplying and dividing fractions and mixed numbers, as well as changing units in the customary system. The students will also be receiving work that will reinforce previously learned concepts.

Regular math: The students have begin working in chapter 4. We will cover the entire chapter. This Chapter will cover using divisibility rules, exponents, prime numbers and factorization, greatest common factors, equivalent fractions, mixed numbers and improper fractions, least common multiples, comparing and ordering fractions and changing fractions to decimals and vice versa. The students will also be receiving work that will reinforce previously learned concepts

Science: The students are finishing up chapter 3. They will have a test over this section Friday the 6th of November. We will begin Chapter 18: The Flow of fresh water.
