Dear Families…

Welcome Back! This is the start of a great school year. I am looking forward to getting to know all of the students and supporting and guiding them throughout the year. We have a great year planned!

I believe that for each student to be successful we all need to be involved in their education. I want to be sure that communication is always open between home and school. There are a couple things that will help with this:
1. E-mail – I would like to have e-mail addresses from all families. This is a great way to send out reminders and notices.
2. Schoolnotes.com – This is a webpage that I maintain throughout the year. It will be updated periodically, to ensure that you know when it is updated you can sign up on the webpage to be automatically notified. You need to click on the Notify button and it will set it up for you.
3. Homework folders – All students will have a homework folder. They will be responsible for turning it in every morning and taking it home at night. This is also where I will put handouts and information that needs to get to you.
4. Planners – All students will also have a planner. They will write homework assignments and due dates in the planner. This is also a great tool for correspondence between home and school. Please initial that you saw the planner each night. This will also be turned in with the homework folder each day.
5. Parent Night – There is a Parent Night scheduled for Sept. 15th. We will be sharing curriculum, discussing goals, answering questions, etc… When I know the times I will send them home.

10:00 to 11:00 is Specials
11:10 to 11:40 is Lunch
11:50 to 12:20 is Recess
