Our 2009 Greyhound baseball team wants you!!!!!



The Fall after-school baseball "skills and drills" class starts Monday October 10th 2008.

The fee is $125 + $25 registration fee. Make checks payable to Johnston PTO.

Tryouts for the spring season are in January 2009.

WE NEED HELP!

We are currently in need of a parent with a 4-wheeler (ATV) to help pull a nail drag through the infield clay once a month.

Our infield clay is very low due to erosion over the years. We are looking for anyone that can help us in this matter. We will need approximately 40 yds. of baseball clay mixed in and tilled into what we already have in the infield.

HISD is supposed to be repairing our fences and gates to the baseball field. They are also going to build us a new equipment storage shed to replace the one destroyed by Ike.

ANYTHING YOU CAN DO TO HELP OUR PROGRAM WILL BE GREATLY APPERCIATED! 

Middle school baseball in HISD in not a UIL sponsored sport. Everything that we have (field, field maintenence, fencing, scoreboard, equipment, games, uniforms, umpires, etc...)is paid for with fees, donations and fundraisers. If you can help in any way, your gratitude will go a long way in helping our program help children.
