All meetings will be on the last Wednesday that is a school day of each month.  Students are to report to Mrs. Davis' room when they call for students to go to aftercare.  We will meet until 5:00 and pick up will be at the end of the hall (by the computer lab) unless otherwise notified.

Overview:
Meet once a month, last wed. that is a school day of each month, until 5:00...DO NOT BE LATE ON PICK UP!
Must bring a project or send it with someone else to do for you if you can't make it.
To earn a spot in the top 15, be the top finishers on monthlyprojects.  Highest overall scorers after the January meeting willattend.
Check website for information.
Use internet as a good resource for projects.
Regional competition at Nicholls Saturday February 27th...Mark your calendar if you hope to attend!

Next meeting:  January 27th  3:30-5:00

***Take care of your cars!  You may not bring them to my classroom before the 8:30 bell rings.  When the bell rings, go straight to your 1st hour teacher to check in and then with their permission, you may bring your cars to my room.

We may not be ordering t-shirts after all...I will not place an order for 8 t-shirts.  Yall asked for shirts and I have spent at least two hours trying to get things together to do that and now people haven't ordered!!!  Bring your money and size on Wednesday and hopefully we will have enough to place an order.

MOUSETRAP CAR

Build a “mousetrap car.”  You may use whatever supplies needed (no store-bought kits), your car should be powered by a single mousetrap (can’t get energy from being pushed or flung with rubber bands, etc…).  The car that goes the farthest down the hall wins the competition.

*******Mousetraps come in a few different sizes; you must use the small, standard trap or be disqualified.  Good luck!

Congrats to our top finishers for the spaghetti towers...Tristen Drury, Gavin Miller, and Casey Paille.

Go to my class school notes page and check out the game and challenge I have posted.  You can win a trip to Kennedy Space Center! :)
