CURRENT EVENTS PROJECT


Article is cut out of a newspaper and taped onto the left hand side of the page. On the corresponding page, students should list 4 facts from that article and write a 1 paragraph(5-6 sentences) response to the article they cut out.



Extra Credit Projects- Students in 5th or 6th grade are allowed to do extra credit project at any time throughout each trimester except for the week before report cards.

Students should pick one topic covered in the trimester and type a 2 page paper using resources other than the text book.
