Reading: Selection “John Henry” pages 263-277. The focus skill will be figurative language and making judgments. The vocabulary words are on page 262. Test – Friday (comprehension, focus skill, and vocabulary)
Spelling: Words are on the pretest Enrichment words are extra credit. Test – Thursday
All spelling tests for the nine weeks will be averaged as one language arts grade for the grading period.
