                                               FIRST GRADE NEWS

                                                     November 6, 2009

Dear Parents, 

                                         Please save the date of November 20th.  This will be our First Grade version of the Thanksgiving Feast.  Please arrive at 8:30; the students will  present a program beginning promptly at 8:35, and then we’ll have a chance to thankfully enjoy a  breakfast “feast” together.  (Have you ever wondered what your children are really thankful for?)  You won’t want to miss this!                                                                                

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          

 

FIRST GRADE FACTS

 

  1. Our chapel offering this quarter will be dedicated to buying Bibles for a new Lutheran church in Allen, Texas.  So far, we’ve bought 28 Bibles.  Please use the attached envelopes as you encourage your children to give the gift of faith.

 

  1. The attached Book Order will be the last order before Christmas.   The deadline is November 16th. 

 

  1. There will be no Math Lab on November 20th.
