Downing Policy regarding ID badges beginning
- ID's must be worn on shirt collar or around neck.
- They can be purchased for $3.00 & lanyards for $2.00
- Once a student has to wear a temporary badge 3 times, they will be assigned a detention by their assistant principal. This will start over every six weeks.
- After 4 detentions, it is now considered failure to comply with school personnel directives and will result in a PAS placement.
- This policy has been implemented to help build a more positive rapport between the staff and students. The staff's goal is to know each child's name.
