Grade 8  =  We are finally ready to take the Illinois Constitution Test on January 30, 2012   More news on the Stock Market Game 

 

Grade 7 = We will learn about the American Revolution and the formation of our Constitutional government.

 

Grade 6  = We will begin our study of Ancient Greece and the formation of the idea of Democracy and how it applies to modern government

 .

Grade 5  = We begin our new year with the Settlement of North America and the search for religious freedom.

 

 

All Social Studies classes have one class period each week in the computer lab to do research and watch power point presentations about the topics we are studying.

 

Religion =  Every Friday we will pre-read the Sunday Readings for the Mass and discuss the lessons and how to apply them to our lives.   We will begin our study of Advent and prepare for the Baby Jesus.
