By the end of G period Thursday morning, all HUNTER students should have received roles in the READER'S THEATER: SUPER SIZE VERSION of the three act play THE TROJAN WAR: Also known as, "O.K. WHO ORDERED THIS REALLY BIG WOODEN HORSE?" Students are not required to memorize lines, but they should practice them over vacation.

By Thursday morning, all students have completed the survey at the bottom of this page.

Students have 2 QUIA QUIZ assignments due for next class. Both are relatively short and are at the bottom of this page.

Overall, they are wrapping up poetry over the next few classes, but will also get a PREVIEW OF COMING ATTRACTIONS starting with B period Monday afternoon before we finish the poetry unit.

In conjunction with the TEMS READATHON and the CONNECTICUT MASTERY TESTING, much of the homework over the next two weeks involves reading their PLEASURE BOOK, updating their WHEEL OF READING, and occasionally answering questions about their pleasure book using QUIA. As always, watch out for the BOO-BOOS!

Remember, to answer questions about your pleasure book with QUIA, read the pages first, then answer the question!

Pleasure reading, and questions based on pleasure reading, will be given as activities during CMT testing time. Please be sure your child reads for at least 20 minutes at home daily AND answers questions that will either be given at school to take home or answered through a QUIA QUIZ at the bottom of this page.

On Monday, this page will have the final homework assignment for Block D, the SEEDFOLKS JEOPARDY CHALLENGE #1 (Chapters "Kim" thru "Leona")

1) This challenge must be finsihed by Thanksgiving Day.

2) The students must log in with their user name and passwords.

3) The students MAY use their black journal, which has notes from SEEDFOLKS, if they wish.
