Science lessons:  Week of 6/1/2009

1st Rotation:

OBJECTIVE: Students will compose and design a project to explain different characteristics and types of bacteria.

Lesson Plan:

2nd Rotation:

OBJECTIVE: Students will compose and design a project to explain different characteristics and types of bacteria.

Lesson Plan C, D , E and G period:

1.    Finish group project

2.   Present projects

3.   Bio bottle observation #3

HW: start studying for test next week

3rd Rotation:

OBJECTIVE: Students will design an experiment to determine the effects of temperature and food preservation methods to prevent food spoilage. 

Lesson Plan:

4.   Begin bacteria labs

5.   Introduction, procedure and data tables should be complete

EXTRA HELP: I am available after school on Wednesday's.  During this time I will help students who are having difficulty, provide study sessions for upcoming tests, and have make up lab sessions.  I am also available by appointment before and after school on most days.  If you are having difficulty please schedule a time to come and see me!! I want to help you understand some of the more difficult concepts taught this year!
