Welcome to Mrs. Wilhoit's Health/Physical Education Class China Grove Middle School Physical Education Department teaches from the North Carolina Standard Course of Study for Healthy Living. There is a copy of the curriculum located in the Media Center if you would like to view it General rules Students must dress out each day. The PE Department requires black shorts and a tee shirt for class. Shorts and shirts must comply with the Rowan-Salisbury Code of Conduct. Shorts must have an inseam of 5 inches or longer. Shorts can not have any writing on the seat. Tee shirts can not have an drugs, alcohol, gang, or an other offensive material. No cut offs of any kind are allowed. PE is 75% if their grade. If your child has a medical condition that I need to know about please let me know. Their are medication forms in the office that you must fill out for medicine and inhalers. This year your child will follow a schedule of 2 weeks Health then 6 weeks of Physical Education. Each child has been given a schedule of their rotation with what topics and activities they will be participating in. Health is 25% of their grade PE 4 Square, Handball, Basketball, Volleyball, All Run Kickball, Bean Bag Exercises, and Corn Hole ** We will also be in the computer lab working on our Spark Program Health Red Ribbon week has been rescheduled because of the snow Remember: Trace means to outline, analyze to break it down, infer read between the lines, evaluate to judge, formulate build create, describe tell me all about, support back it up, explain tell me how, summarize the short version, compare the things that are alike, contrast the things that are different, predict think about the future.
