Four-Year-Old Kindergarten Class!

This will be such a fun year filled with many learning opportunities for all of us!

These are some skills that you can continue to reinforce at home with your child:

1.  Memorizing his/her birthday (month, day, and year)

2.  Learning his/her address and phone number

3.  Counting items and recognition of numbers up to twenty

4.  Recognition of capital and lowercase letters

5.  Writing his/her name using capital and lowercase letters

6.  Cutting with scissors

7.  Reviewing colors and shapes

The most important thing you can do with your children each day is to read to them.  Spend time asking questions and having real conversations. Mrs. Marett and I are amazed and amused every day by things children say to us.  Our jobs are so much fun!
