Notate Bene:(Note Well) There is no school this Wednesday for Veterens' Day.

Math Club is for any student in need of extra help.  Please come on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:45AM.  

Also, please remember to sign the Reminder Binder nightly.

 Math:     Study Link and Math Boxes 3.7.  Please "fine tune" multiplication and division facts by practicing regularly through the year. Fifth grade students are expected to have mastered the basic 0-12 multiplication and division facts. 

Spelling:  None.

Vocab:  Quiz tomorrow.  Greek root "ono,nym, onym" meaning word, name.  Discover 5 new EDs and play the Vocab Sort Game.  Also, complete 3 boxes on your vocab poster. 

Reading:    DEAR Journals and Book Reports are due 11/13.  Read for at least 30 minutes.  During the school year, please read and discuss good books with your child every night for at least thirty minutes. This investment in time and energy with your child will pay huge dividends in many ways. 

Poetry:  Memorize  the 1st stanza of "Godfrey Gordon Gustavus Gore."  Please remember to recite "every poem every night." This improves memory AND intelligence.  Review poems 1 through 12 in level one of our poetry series. 

Social Studies: None.

Science:  None.

 
Writing:  None.
