HOMEWORK:

Students are required to read 100 minutes by Friday.  The minutes should be marked in their planner or on a sheet of paper.  Parents should initial it sometime during the week, and I will check for the minutes and initials on Friday.

Study for vocabulary test on Thursday.

Study for spelling test on Friday. 

IMPORTANT DATES:

The fifth graders will be taking a field trip on November 13th.  The district has arranged for all fifth graders to learn about careers and college.  We will be visiting Brookhaven College.  This is a new field trip for us so I'm not sure what to expect.  Ms. Cotter is in charge of this trip, and more details will be coming home soon.
