Reading: We are working on the comprehension strategy of predicting and inferring. We are also working the on the comprehension skill of sequencing events in a story. Math We are currently learning about place value through the millions as well as decimal place value through the thousandths. Science We will finish discussing the water cycle next week and begin talking about clouds. Social Studies We will begin our first unit of social studies this week. We will be learning about geography terms and will begin learning the names, locations, and capitals of the fifty states in America. Reminders *Please be sure to sign your child's reading log and agenda each night. *Please be sure your child is completing his or her homework each night. *We eat lunch at 11:40 and would love for you to join us.
