Kindergarten Announcements and Homework October 26-30

Instead of introducing aletter this week, we will focus on blending the sounds we have alreadylearned: n (initial and final), a(middle). We will practice readingthe story Nan in class-it is also attached, please read at home. We will take our Chapter Oneassessment in math this week.
Thursday we will decorate ourpumpkins in class. Please sendwith your child the item listed on the attached sheet. (sorry for the confusion lastweek) Friday: HALLOWEEN CELEBRATION! Minimum day Students may come to school intheir costumes. Please leave allaccessories at home that are not appropriate for school: guns, swords, knives etc. Following our morning assembly, parents are encouraged to stayfor our parade. Party begins at 11:00,reminder to parents assisting, please sign-in at the mainoffice.
Thanks to all parents whochaperoned and drove on the field trip-it was a beautiful day and tons of fun!
