Dates to Remember

The next PTO meeting is Thursday, October 30th.

Our Fall Festival will be Saturday, November 1st. (See below for volunteer information)

Reminders

Please sign your child's agenda every day. Their assignments and important upcoming dates are recorded daily.

Remember, your student attends "book club" every Tuesday and Thursday. They are expected to have read the correct chapters and have their assignments ready on those days. (Book Club will begin again Nov. 6th)

Read-a-Letter is due every Thursday. Students are to write the teacher a letter about a book they are reading and provide the title, author, a summary, and connection in each and every letter.

Wordo (spelling) is due every Friday.

Students are expected to grow at least 25 Lexile points each quarter.

Wishlist

• candy (a variety of gum, twizzlers, starburst, smarties) These are used for our writing workshops
• plastic baggies (pint, quart, gallon, or jumbo)
• AAA batteries (for Palm Pilots)
