Choose one of the following assignments as spelling homework for one evening.  Spelling homework must be completed on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.  Please study your words for your tests on Thursdays.

Complete all spelling assignments in your spelling notebook.  Remember neatness counts, spelling words must be spelled correctly and always underline your spelling words.

3. Use graph paper or the website www.puzzlemaker.com to create a word search using all of your spelling words or cross-word puzzle.

4. Create a cartoon strip using at least 10 spelling words. Your cartoon strip must make sense and be legible.  Underline spelling words.

5. Write all words in sentences. Underline the nouns in the sentences and circle the verbs in the sentences. Underline the spelling words and one spelling word per sentence.

6. Write each spelling word you missed on the pretest 10 times each in print and in cursive.

7. Complete Spelling plus Math worksheet.

8. Complete Whole Words worksheet (fractional parts of words).

9. Write words in ABC order – once in print and once in cursive.

10. Write the definitions for fifteen spelling words.  Use dictionary or dictionary.com.

11.  Write a letter to a friend using at least 12 of your spelling words.  Underline all spelling words.
