6th Critical Thinking Class-

Global Awareness Topic Project was a great success! I was so pleased with the power point presentations....they were awesome!

Please be sure to get those library books turned in and get fines paid.

Each student will need to bring in (2) self-addressed and stamped envelopes--as we will be sending final report cards to you this summer.


Critical Thinking:
Students will be held accountable for "In-Class" assignments. No Homework unless "make-up" work is needed.

Class Activities:
1. Daily Silent Reading and Journal Responding
2. Current Event Magazines, Newspaper Activities and Channel One News national broadcasts.
3. SRA= Student Reading Assignments are geared to exercising student reading levels.
4. Attending Compass Computer Lab:Odyssey-Reading
5. KAPLAN Assignments(sixth grade curriculum)
6. Creative Activities: Related assignments that offer experiences to use skills in speaking, writing, group interaction, and hands-on activities.
7. Wordly Wise Weekly Vocabulary & Terminology Enrichment
8. Read for Real= reading non-fiction program (various reading skills)
