*** READ, READ, READ!!!! We have a "100%er Club" for students to encourage them to READ and take their tests along the way versus waiting until the LAST MINUTE!  Feel free to drop by and see your child progress on the board.  A.R. for third quarter ends on March 29, 2010.  Please encourage your child to read NIGHTLY!!!!!!! : ) ~ I will send home in your child's agenda EACH FRIDAY an A.R. update.

The STARS have begun to MOVE!!!!  


*** As a fourth grade, we are implementing a new MOTIVATIONAL PROGRAM . . . "Nothing Less Than 100%".  This program is designed to motivate each student to do nothing less than 100% of his/her BEST!  Each student will be earning tickets based on his/her academic performance.  Each FRIDAY, those students who have taken an A.R. OR A.M. TEST for the week and made an 85% or higher will receive a ticket.  Every FRIDAY, as a grade level, we will give a READING and MATH assessment based on E.O.G. test questions.  Those students who meet the weekly requirements will receive another ticket. The requirements will vary each week due to the rigor/intensity of the assessment as well as the number of questions. THOSE STUDENTS WHO MAKE A 100% ON ANY ASSESSMENT WILL RECEIVE TWO TICKETS VERSUS ONE!!!!  

*** ALL TICKETS WILL BE PLACED IN THE "NOTHING LESS THAN 100%" BOX!  *** AT THE END OF THE MONTH, WE WILL HAVE MULTIPLE DRAWINGS TO REWARD STUDENTS' EFFORTS! ***
