Hello, my name is Shelley Phillips. I am the Resource Teacher for Luther Vaughan Elementary. I work with various children who have Learning Disabilities. I work with students who have difficulties in Reading, Writing, and Math. In order to assist your child's regular education teacher and myself, please remember to work with your child on letter sounds and reading sightwords in Language Arts. (I have included some important sightwords on flash cards for your child to practice.) It is also important to practice basic math facts with your children as well.  Plus it is very important to check with your child everyday to see if they have homework.
