Hello! Welcome to Ms. Haugen's Page! 11/17-11/21 This week in reading we'll be talking about fables. A fable is a short story that teaches a lesson or moral. The characters are often animals that act and talk like humans. We will be finishing up our unit on Government this week. This means we'll be starting science and different animals and their life cycles. In Math we'll be finishing patterns and ordinal numbers and beginning graphs (using tally marks or pictures).
Homework each Week Monday: Spelling words 3 times each Tuesday: Write sentences for each spelling word Wednesday: Study spelling words (the way that works best for you) Thursday: Write a sentence for each spelling word missed Friday: NO HOMEWORK! * Reading logs need to have the title of the book and a parent/guardan signature each night reading is assigned.
