Welcome back to school.

Sept 14 - Sept 18: Why do we have a government?  How does John Locke and the founding fathers influence our Consitution?  We will be also studying the Declaration of Independence.

Sept 21 - Sept 25:  We will be analyizing the Articles of Confederation and the Constitution.

Students are using "We The People" book.  Students can read the textbook about the Constitution and its influences. 

Upcoming events:  Trip to Washington D.C.  All MWMS students are invited.  The tour and costs will be discussed.  The trip will be taking place Feb. 28 - March 4 via Close Up.  (www.closeup.com)

1 - 3 ring binder (1 inch)

pens & pencils

1 pack of lined paper

1 pack of copy paper
